Twitter executive mocks Musk’s health, slams ‘free speech’

San Francisco: Amid ongoing Elon Musk-Parag Agrawal saga over fake user accounts, senior Twitter executive, while slamming call for ‘free speech’, mocked Tesla CEO for having Asperger’s Syndrome which makes him “special”.

Conservative political journalist Benny Johnson posted a conversation secretly recorded by US far-right activist group Project Veritas on his Twitter account on Wednesday, where a senior Twitter client partner, Alex Martinez, can be heard saying that Twitter does not isn’t there “to give people free speeches,” while poking fun at Musk’s medical condition.

“Twitter director trashes free speech and mocks people with Asperger’s,” Musk replied.

During US sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL) in May last year, Musk revealed for the first time that he has Asperger’s Syndrome.

People with Asperger’s interpret the environment around them differently than other people.

“I don’t always have a lot of intonation or variation in the way I speak…which I’m told makes for good comedy. I’m actually making history tonight as the first person with Asperger’s to host SNL,” the Tesla CEO had said.

The latest video of a Twitter executive slamming Musk came after another Twitter engineer claimed in a separate video that the microblogging platform has a “leftist bias” and “doesn’t believe in freedom. of expression”.

Siru Murugesan, a senior engineer, was heard saying in another Project Veritas video that Twitter’s culture is extremely left-wing where workers “hate, hate, hate” Elon Musk’s $44 billion takeover.

His comments come as Tesla CEO Musk opened a Twitter war against CEO Parag Agrawal over the actual number of bots or fake accounts on the platform. On Tuesday, he made it clear that “the deal will not move forward” unless Agrawal reveals the exact number.

Musk pledged to “free speech” as well as “defeating spam bots” and “authenticating all humans”.
